TASTE & TEXTURE: Soft and evenly spread tannin, warmed spices, mouth coating, light cocoa, nutmeg, and cherry juice– rich premium benchland flavors. Retronasal (as you breathe out): bright bramble, raspberry/boysenberry that lingers, Dry Creek dustiness, lingering finish.
Sweet zinberry toastiness, but dry on the finish.
WINEMAKER NOTES: All intensities of fruitiness, oak, tannin, alcohol, acidity are sitting medium or medium plus. Premium red wine, beautiful complexities, mysterious deliciousness of Zinfandel.
BEST ENJOYED: Beautiful now or ageable 7+ years from the 2021 vintage.
